1. Will it cost me extra to obtain any hardware/equipment through Komtel on one of its Business Packages?

No. In most cases it does not cost you anything over and above your monthly telephone bill. We try to offset the cost of equipment from your existing fixed telephone service.

2. Do I have to sign an agreement?

Yes, you will have to commit to a certain period, which may vary from 24 to 60 months depending on the cost of the equipment you choose. You may also choose to reduce the term of your agreement if you have a substantially higher expenditure on your phone bill.

3. What if I am not spending enough on my phone bills?

The monthly rental of the equipment depends on the cost of the equipment you choose. If you are not spending enough on your business phone bills, then we may be able to provide you with credits on your residential services (the service may be added to the same bill as the business but still marked as residential services for tax purposes).

4. I am interested in equipment but I am currently under contract with another provider.

If you like the products/packages offered by Komtel, we may be able still be able to be your service provider. Speak to one of our customer service or sales staff to discuss it in more detail.

5. What equipment am I eligible for?

You can get an indication of the type of business equipment you can be eligible for by looking at Komtel’s package calculator on the website. 6. What are the tax benefits of this package?

Your new phone system and business equipment is structured as a rental which means that it is 100% tax deductible

7. If I sign up for one of Komtel's Business Packages, who becomes our service provider / carrier?

If you choose one of our hardware/equipment packages, we will be billing you for your services (fixed wire and or mobiles). Komtel own their own state of the art billing system, this means that any queries you have will be directed to and handled by Komtel.

8. Will my numbers be changed?

In all instances your numbers will remain the same. We will transfer your lines to us without any downtime or interruption to your services.

9. I currently have a new phone system / mobile phone but would like some business equipment, am I eligible for this?

You could still be eligible for a telecommunication plan with your existing equipment and this could facilitate further access to the latest business products and services. Contact us and we can explain how this can be done.

10. My business requirements are largely mobile because of call clarity issues in my area, can you help me?

We can assist you with mobile phone or industrial cordless phones, we work with a number of telecommunication equipment brands to ensure we have all the products to meet your business needs.

11. I am interested. What do I do next?

One of our trained professional consultants will come to visit you at your convenience and assess your phone bills. After carefully analysing your phone bill, the consultant will tailor a value added cost effective solution. Once you decide on a package, our consultant will complete all the relevant documentation and process your application. Once your application is approved, we will deliver the goods to your business.

12. If I sign up how long will it take to receive telecommunication and office equipment

The whole process from documentation to delivery can be as short as 36 to 48 hours.

13. How do I receive my call credits?

They are on your monthly Komtel bill until fully used.

14. Are your call rates competitive?

Yes and we also supply you with hardware which would normally be an out of pocket expense.

15. Do you maintain the phone system?

Yes, this is part of every agreement.

16 What happens if my bill is less than the call credit offered, say at Xmas or a quiet trading period?

The unused portion accumulates and is not lost to you.
